Solar Water Pumping Point, East Africa

A community relied on an unreliable and contaminated water source several kilometers away. The goal was to create a self-sufficient water pumping point from a clean aquifer to a central storage tank, without dependence on a costly diesel generator or grid connection

Our Solution

We implemented a solar-powered pumping system. The solution included high-efficiency solar panels, a submersible solar pump, a HDPE piping network, and a 10,000-liter storage tank, creating a self-sustaining water distribution point.

The Result

The community gained daily access to over 20,000 liters of clean water. The solar-powered system eliminated fuel costs and reduced long-term maintenance, making the project economically sustainable. Our management of the entire supply chain ensured all components were compatible and delivered on schedule.
